Knowledge Sharing - SPENDING QUALITY TIME WITH YOUR FAMILY

Family is very important part of our everyday life. It helps us in improving our personality. It also helps us in shaping our life. It teaches us the value of love, affection, care, truthfulness and self-confidence and provides us tools and suggestions which are necessary to get success in life.

And spending a very quality time with family help us to maintain good relationship between family members and at the same time, helps us survive through tough times and bring joy and happiness into life. So, here are some tips on how to spend those quality times.




Create and activity where the whole family members can participate.
e.g. gardening, fishing, etc



Set aside some time for simple activities such as going to the movies, board games, bowling, etc.



 Do house chores together on Saturday or Sunday mornings.
e.g. painting, shopping, housekeeping, etc.

Children will learn important household tasks and responsibility together as a family.



Go out at least once a month with the family.
e.g. camping, picnic, movie, zoo, hiking, biking, etc.



Eat together, at home or outside.
Keep your communication channels open, share your thoughts, concerns and visions, and update each others' live.

 
 
Make your house a place where everyone wants to come home to, and the family is happy together.

Club Activity - TENGOK WAYANG

Dear all Styling Club members!

As has been announced before, we are going to organize a 'Tengok Wayang' activity together this month. This might be the second outing activity (after Wak Jan's wedding convoy) held by the new club committee of 2011/2012, thus we really hope for your full support!

As for this month, there are several fresh released interesting movies to be selected...
Place, date, and time depend on what movie we choose, and how many person involve (plus children appearance). So far, we suggest
  1. Sunway Pyramid (TGV)
  2. Summit USJ (GSC)
  3. The Curve (Cineleisure)
  4. Bukit Raja (GSC)
Do confirm your participation with Ezariq if you wish to join. We really hope for more corum this time. The more the merrier!

Knowledge Sharing - HOW TO RELAX

Learning how to relax is a key to good life balance and self respect. In this post, we'll share some essential techniques to relax, and hopefully to restore our faith in the worth of including relaxing as a permanent part of our lifestyle.

Choose a time in your day when you can truly relax and unhibited - e.g. like from work, where stressful events took their toll on you.

It is most helpful to try and unwind at the point when you are coming down from the highest stress, as this usually occurs when you are overwhelmed and there is little you can do about it.


Run yourself a hot bath with lots of scented oils and bubble bath but avoid being in it for too long; just long enough to refresh and restore your energy back to your own head space.


Give yourself a massage. It is effective in reducing muscle pain and tightens when stressed.


Clear your mind. If there are stressing thoughts pestering you during your quiet moments, give yourself a break, even for a minute or two.

Do this by narrowly focusing on a picture, sound, or smell in your mind.


Do something proactive. If the situation persists, take a pen and paper and start writing down your feelings. Identify what is triggering the feelings.


Find an outlet - do active sports e.g. cycling, futsal, tennis, badminton, ping pong, etc.
Pray, meditate, yoga, etc.
Karaoke.


Seek help. Do not let things get to such a bad state that you find yourself stressing deeply and regularly. Go and seek for professional help.
